Do I have to break my bank to get my money out?

            No!  All the banks at Personalizedpiggybanks.com feature a sturdy rubber stopper in the bottom, so you can remove your savings without breaking your precious bank.

Is the design I see on both sides?

            The left side of the piggy bank is the design you see.  Julie paints a small coordinating design on the opposite side, so nothing is left blank.

Can I make changes to the design?

            Julie hand-paints all the designs, so small alterations are no problem!  Changes in color, etc., are fine- just mention the changes you would like in the “comments” box during check-out.

Guests with large alterations are welcome to check with us before placing their order.

Can I add a personal message or other information, i.e. birth statistics, to my bank?

            Yes!  Because Julie hand-paints the banks at the time of order, Personalizedpiggybanks.com is proud to offer this service free-of-charge.  Just mention that you would like this extra personalization added to the piggy bank in the comments section during check out.

How soon will I get my bank?

            Normal processing time is generally 7-10 business days (please allow extra time for holidays and special orders).  We ship FedEx Ground and USPS, and they both have a turn-over time of 2-4 days from the day of shipment.  All together, you should receive your bank 2-3 weeks after you order.

I need my bank-fast!  What should I do?

            We now offer rush processing for our banks.  When you order this option, we will process your order in 1-2 business days.  If you’d like rush or overnight shipping, please email us and we will give you a quote as the price varies depending on the size of your order.  (Please note:  Orders received after 5:00 pm CST will be processed with the next business day). 

How do I care for my bank?

            Your bank will be hand-painted by Julie using permanent, oil-based paints, then sealed with a special glaze to protect the integrity of the artwork.  To further protect the artwork, it is advised that you 1) use a soft cloth to clean your piggy bank.  Window cleaner can be sprayed on the cloth if desired, 2) avoid using furniture polish or other oil-based products on the piggy bank, and 3) keep your bank out of direct sunlight.
A copy of these instructions is included with every order, so it will be simple to remember!

You have so many great designs, I can’t choose!  What should I do?

            A list of our top ten sellers is listed on the homepage and is a good place to start.  However, we are pleased to now offer gift certificates- a great idea for a baby shower (especially if you don’t know the sex or name of the soon-to-arrive baby), for those with particular tastes, or a great birthday gift.  This way, they’ll be able to pick out the best bank to suit their tastes!
